Concessions - To Do's - Open
- Get out concessions tally sheet from drawer
- Get cash box out from the lower cabinet next to the freezer. Count the money in the box.
- Fill out the tally sheet with date, $ to start and volunteers names
- Open up the Roll Up window
- Tape Price lists on both sides of window on the outside of the concession stand
- Set out one of each drink type on the window sill
- Pull all the food out of the cabinets. Leave in the bins to keep clean up quick at the end of the night
- Put suckers in the softball sucker stand and display in windowsill
- Make Popcorn – see instructions by Popcorn machine
- Hot Chocolate if cold outside – Make sure there is water in the carafe and plug in to heat the water. Hot chocolate and cups are in one of the upper cabinets – it is labeled.
- As you sell items, tally how many you sell
*There is a blue handwashing container that you can set up on a chair outside and use for handwashing if needed. Try to use limited water so it will last a few games*
Concessions - To Do's - Close
- Put covers back on all bins and put food back in cabinets. Make sure the tops are tightly closed.
- Count cash in cashbox and note the amount in the $ to Finish box
- Note any items that we are out of at the bottom.
- Take a picture of the tally sheet and text to 715-892-1292
- Return cash box to the lower cabinet
- Cleaning
- Popcorn machine needs to be wiped down and only use food-safe cleaners on it. Make sure it is turned off and unplugged
- Unplug carafe if used for Hot Chocolate
- Sweep floor and clean countertop with supplies in cabinet.
- Close Roll up window, re-install the metal rod and pull up on it to make sure it is locked
- Make sure door locks as you leave
Concession Duties
Popcorn Machine
- Turn the unit on and it will warm up
- Empty the contents of both parts of the package of popcorn into the popper
- 1 package should make 4 bags of popcorn – pre-make 2 packages and stand up in the machine to stay warm until people buy them
- Make sure unit is turned off and unplugged at the end of the night
- Clean only using food-safe cleaner in cleaning supplies cabinet
Grill
The grill is located in the concession stand at the high school. There should be standard grilling utensils available.
- Move grill outside
- Turn on gas
- Ignite burners
Recommended items to bring for grilling day:
- Serving utensils
- Crockpots/Nesco's
- Meat and the "fixings"
Be sure to turn off the gas after completing
